Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, organized a Cancer Awareness Talk at Mangalam College of Education, Thirumullaivoyal, attended by approximately 30 community members. The session highlighted the importance of early detection and cancer prevention, with a focus on women’s health, emphasizing mammograms and Pap smear tests. The speaker discussed cancer risk factors, screening procedures, and the benefits of timely detection, encouraging attendees to adopt proactive health measures. Participants learned how preventive screenings can reduce cancer risks and were empowered to make informed decisions for their well-being. The session aimed to raise awareness, promote early diagnosis, and foster a culture of preventive healthcare within the community.
